From either Chiddy Nook or Gingerbread Cottage here in Chideock you can walk to Charmouth.
If you’re really wanting to go for it, you can go on to Lyme Regis.
This stunning walk takes in the highest land point on the South West Coast.
Golden Cap: Golden Cap offers magnificent views at every compass point. On a clear day you can see across Lyme Bay to Dartmoor – well worth the effort of the walk uphill.

Charmouth Beach: From Charmouth Beach if the tide is right you can walk along the beach to Lyme Regis but before you set of it’s worth spending time to see if you can find yourself a fossil. Take a look in the Heritage Centre it’s full of interesting information on how to fossil. take a look at the amazing fossil collections.
