West Dorset Cottages are The Burrow, Chiddy Nook and Gingerbread Cottage, all owned by Jane and Laurie in the beautiful coastal village of Chideock between Bridport and Lyme Regis.
Chiddy Nook
Brimming with charm, Chiddy Nook was originally the Coach House to the main establishment, Warren House, so low beamed ceilings and quirky features abound in this much-loved holiday home.
Gingerbread Cottage
Gingerbread Cottage is Jane and Laurie's most recent holiday home addition, and you can see much of the same 'Chiddy Nook' charm here too. You'll love the many character features including exposed beams and window seats.
The Burrow
The Burrow in the Warren is a beautiful, thatched, stone-built self catering cottage, situated in Chideock near Bridport, in West Dorset. Sleeping 4 people.
Wonderful West Bay
If you are a Broadchurch follower you will recognise that nearby West Bay is Broadchurch, with the distinctive east cliffs and other stunning locations where the recent hit TV show was filmed.
West Dorset Cottages, The Burrow, Chiddy Nook, and Gingerbread Cottages are all situated in the beautiful village of Chideock in West Dorset.

What a wonderful place to stay! An absolutely lovely cottage and a fantastic host!! Cosy with a well-fitted kitchen and clean bathrooms. Highly recommend the pub across the street for a drink or meal and Platform Restaurant in West Bay for a memorable meal in a train car.

A lovely cottage with everything you could want inside. Very well equipped kitchen for cooking as much as you want. Piping hot water and controllable heating. Comfortable beds, comfy bedding, great big fluffy towels! Lovely electric fire in sitting room. Good space for dogs but take a towel for muddy feet as the porch opens up into the sitting room. Easy to walk dogs down the road to open countryside for a quick pee! We didn't use the small patio but would be nice in the summer. The garden is seperate to the house. Great to have off street parking. Loads of useful information in the house. We found the Internet intermittent. Spar is close by for essentials, a garage for emergency milk open til 11pm. Felicity's farm shop is super, Groves garden centre lovely. The Clock, virtually opposite the cottage is very welcoming and serves good pub grub! Seaton is a great 15 min walk away with lovely coastal walks, fossil hunting on the beach and a wonderful pub, the Anchor, with luscious food

Chiddy Nook is a delightful cottage in a beautiful setting. Everything was spotlessly clean and every possible amenity was available. Jane is a very responsive host; all questions were answered very quickly. The cottage is delightfully decorated and nice and warm. It’s in a great position for sightseeing - convenient for Devon and Somerset as well as Dorset. The Anchor at Seatown was a particular highlight, as was the dog-friendly beach at Charmouth.

We had a really good time staying at The Burrow, despite our visit coinciding with Storm Bert. It's a very comfortable and well-appointed cottage.
