Enjoy walks along the beautiful Jurassic Coast calling into one of the many cafes & pubs. A short walk from both cottages brings you to Seatown Beach and the fabulous Anchor Inn. Take a short trip to Burton Bradstock and Hive Beach where you will find the Hive Beach Cafe offering delicious locally caught fish. Drive along the coast road from Bridport to Abbotsbury. Whatever the weather this drive is truly amazing. There are lots of picturesque villages dotted along the coastline offering unique charm.
Beautiful Chideock
A trip to Lyme Regis is a must! After the bustle of the summer Lyme Regis settles down to offer you a relaxing place to explore. The town has lots of interesting shops, galleries, museum, eateries. We would recommend you drop into The Alexandra Hotel for coffee or lunch with fabulous views of Lyme Bay. If you want something a little closer to the beach ‘Swim’ cafe is right on the promenade and offers delicious meals as well a stunning views.
Bridport is the closest market town to the cottages. On Wednesdays & Saturdays there is a market. The market offers locally sourced produce, lots of vintage goodies and much more! Our recommendation for a perfect coffee in town would be ‘Beppino’ a real Italian coffee and gelato treasure! Keep your eyes open for what’s on at the Electric Palace.
