The Melplash Show fun for all the family. The show is one of the South West’s first Agricultural shows and is held at the West Bay show grounds near Bridport. This year the show is on Thursday 28th August.
The Melplash show offers something for everyone. There are approx. 350 trade stands selling everything you can imagine, from delicious local foods, wines, ales to a brand new tractor!

Velo Vintage : Cycling around the show ground on Penny Farthings.
Wyld Morris : Morris dancing and musicians.
Hurdlebrook Guernsey Cows : meet these gorgeous cows and watch a milking demonstration.
Jonathan Marshall : One of the world’s leading Falconers
Strawberry Jam the Clown : performing magic tricks, circus skill and getting up to mischief!
Palmers Brewery : will set up their bar – The Melplash Inn
There will be lots of animals on show such as heavy horses, sheep, goats, pigs, cattle and hounds and beagles.
A food hall packed with lots of delicious local produce.
Craft marquees where you can buy beautiful handmade goods.
Take in some country crafts such as Bees & Honey, Woodcraft, Thatching, Hedge Lying, Spinning, Blacksmithing, weaving and lots more.
There will be lots of cookery demonstrations throughout the day.
